NBA - Playoff Bracket
With the "mini" regular season over, it's time to the playoffs. The regular season was very difficult because the players average only 1 day of rest between games. We saw a lots of injuries because of the intensity and the huge amount of games played with so little days. Every game was important, a 4th seed team could lose the playoff spot with just one loss. I'm a Lakers fan but it will be difficult to win the championship. I think that the semi-finalist will be the SA Spurs, OKC Thunder, CHI Bulls and MIA Heat. I would love to see the Thunder win the championship (if LA is already eliminated) because they have such a young an great team built with the draft and I think that Kevin Durant deserves a championship.
Here's the Playoff Bracket:

The biggest surprise is the LA Kings who were the eighth seed from the west and are winning the series 3-0 against the first seed: Vancouver Canucks.

NFL - Playoffs: Giants at 49ers
Giants Indy-bound after knocking off 49ers in OT
"Lawrence Tynes booted the New York Giants into the Super Bowl again.
Tynes kicked a winning 31-yard field goal in sudden-death overtime, and the Giants beat the San Francisco 49ers 20-17 in the NFC Championship Game on Sunday night to reach its second Super Bowl in five seasons.
Eli Manning and the Giants will face the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XLVI on Feb. 5 in Indianapolis, just as they did when they won it in 2008.
Tynes also kicked the game-winning field goal in overtime at Green Bay in the 2008 NFC title game that put the Giants in the Super Bowl.
Devon Thomas put the Giants in position. He recovered his second fumble of the game after Jacquian Williams stripped the ball from Kyle Williams, the 49ers' fill-in return man." @ nfl.com
NFL - Playoffs: Ravens at Patriots
Brady, Patriots bound for Indy after beating Ravens
"Tom Brady has the New England Patriots back in the Super Bowl. And they'll see a familiar opponent.
The Patriots beat the stunned Ravens 23-20 in the AFC Championship Game on Sunday after Baltimore's Billy Cundiff missed a 32-yard field-goal attempt with 11 seconds remaining in Foxborough, Mass.
Brady scored the winning touchdown when he leaped over the vaunted Ravens defense in the fourth quarter. The 1-yard dive brought the Patriots from behind, and their maligned defense made several key plays, including shutting down Ray Rice, the league's total yardage leader.
"This team really overcame a lot, and they fought hard all year," Patriots coach Bill Belichick told NFL Network's Michael Lombardi after the game. "It wasn't always perfect, just like today. We had our moments, but they hung in there and they fought hard. I'm happy for the players. They did a great job today."
Next up as the Patriots chase their fourth Super Bowl trophy in Brady and Belichick's tenure in New England are the New York Giants, who defeated New England 17-14 in Super Bowl XLII in Glendale, Ariz. This Super Bowl will be held Feb. 5 in Indianapolis." @ nfl.com

NFL - Playoffs: Texans at Ravens
Ravens ride defense to win over Texans; Pats next
"A fierce defense led by linebacker Ray Lewis and safety Ed Reed came up with four turnovers, leading the Ravens to a 20-13 victory over the Houston Texans on Sunday and into the AFC Championship Game.
Baltimore forced two turnovers in the first quarter and moved to a 17-3 lead, and interceptions by Lardarius Webb and Reed in the final eight minutes preserved the advantage.
The Ravens (13-4) will visit the New England Patriots next Sunday, with the winner advancing to Super Bowl XLVI in Indianapolis.
Baltimore finished the season 9-0 at home.
One week earlier, in the first playoff game in franchise history, the Texans (11-7) didn't give the ball away in a 31-10 home victory over the Cincinnati Bengals. In this one, rookie quarterback T.J. Yates threw three interceptions." @ nfl.com

NFL - Playoffs: Giants at Packers
Giants easily end Packers' Super Bowl repeat bid
"For Eli Manning and the New York Giants, Lambeau Field has become a familiar launching pad. After beating the Green Bay Packers at home for the second time in four years, they only hope this trip ends the same way(at the Super Bowl).
Manning threw three touchdown passes, and the Giants shocked the Packers 37-20 in an NFC Divisional Playoff Game on Sunday. Manning threw for 330 yards, sending the Giants to San Francisco for the NFC Championship Game next Sunday night.
The Giants stunned the reigning Super Bowl champion Packers with a touchdown off a long heave just before halftime, then knocked them out with a late touchdown off a turnover. Lambeau Field fell silent as the Giants swarmed the field in celebration." @ nfl.com

NFL - Playoffs: Broncos at Patriots
Pats end Broncos' run with record performance
"Tom Brady's way of dealing with Tebowmania was to silence it with a record-shattering performance.
Brady threw six touchdown passes, five in the first half, and put the New England Patriots into the AFC Championship Game after roughing up Tim Tebow and the Denver Broncos 45-10 Saturday night.
The Patriots, winners of nine consecutive games, will host the Baltimore Ravens next Sunday for a spot in the Super Bowl.
Saturday night's romp stopped a three-game playoff losing streak, two of those at Gillette Stadium, and lifted the Patriots to the verge of their fifth Super Bowl appearance in 11 seasons. They've won it three times.
And so ended one of the season's most exciting storylines -- one that caught the nation's attention and began when Denver was 1-4 and made Tebow a starter. The one-time third-stringer promptly won six in a row and seven of eight, with a string of stunning comebacks, and the Broncos ended up backing into the AFC West title." @ nfl.com

NFL - Playoffs: Saints at 49ers
Smith outduels Brees as 49ers oust Saints
"Alex Smith completed a 14-yard touchdown pass to Vernon Davis with 9 seconds left, just after Drew Brees had put high-powered New Orleans ahead, and the resurgent 49ers capitalized on five Saints turnovers for a thrilling 36-32 playoff victory Saturday.
Smith ran for a 28-yard touchdown with 2:11 left and threw another scoring pass to Davis. Coach Jim Harbaugh's NFC West champion 49ers proved that a hard-hitting, stingy defense still can win in the modern, wide-open NFL by holding off one of league's most dynamic offenses.
San Francisco triumphed in its first playoff game in nine years, moving within one win of returning to the Super Bowl for the first time since capturing the proud franchise's fifth championship after the 1994 season.
Next up for the 49ers is the NFC title game at Candlestick Park against the New York Giants, who upset the defending Super Bowl champion Green Bay Packers 37-20 in their divisional playoff game." @ nfl.com
